INTRO

Creative thinking means looking at something in a new way. It is the very definition of “thinking outside the box.” Often, creativity in this sense involves what is called lateral thinking, or the ability to perceive patterns that are not obvious by using the 7 steps of Zig-Zag process.

ASSIGNMENT 1

The CTS Election

In this assignment, students are required to form a group with a minimum of 6 group members. Each group have to come out with a team flag , team name and a group photo. The photo have to be posted on Instagram with #ctsmarch2018assgn1 to get virtual votes while physical votes need to be collected by getting the signatures from other students.
This assignment is quite challenging in which the group name and the logo must be connected with each group identity and zig-zag process.
Group that get the highest votes from both virtual and physical media will get to design assignment 2!

Lips - It represents the word communicative in which we always need to ask to seek for information and knowledge.
Eyes - It represents the word infinitive in which we always observe to explore infinite things.
Cap - It symbolizes our brain and represents the word informative in which we always brainstorm in order to generate new ideas and even obtain solutions.

REFLECTION

Through this assignment, I get to learn on how to work in a group. It's important to be cooperative among one another to get a satisfied outcome in shorter time.
Actually i'm quite timid to talk with someone that i don't know.

But in this assignment, i have tried and pushed myself to speak out for getting some votes from other students. I know that self-confident is important not only in this assignment, but in our daily life too, so i'm quite happy that i have tried hard to improve my confidence!

Something That Represent YOURSELF

In this assignment, students are required to create something that represents themselves. Students have to make something that showing how unique and special they are through their final outcomes. There is no criteria for this assignment as long as using any non-digital medium.

I have used almost a number of 350+ of colour paper to create an origami girl with some ingrediets such as uhu glue, ruler, cutter and pencil.

REFLECTION

The reason why i make an origami girl to represent myself is because i think everyone should have something that act as a mirror to ourselves. It can remind us to be brave while facing any trouble or challenges in our life journey. Weather it is happy, sad, tough or even an easy life journey, we must be who we are without doing something that we will regret in our life.

Everything About NATURE

In this assignment , Students are required to support one of the statements below:
1. Everything originated form nature is original and natural.
2. Everything synthetic using nature is still original and natural.
After that, we need to map out our ideas on a white cotton T-shirt according to the statement that has been chosen.

From this assignment, I have learnt about the ingredients that been used to make synthetic materials.
Furthermore, i have learned the importantance of protecting our nature. Human activity is the main causes that put some species of plants and animals in danger. It is important for us to conserve and preserve the ecosystem to have a better future.

FINAL ASSIGNMENT

A MODEL

In this assignment, students are required to designed and make a wearable element for a model based on assignment 3. Every group members need to wear their T-shirts that designed in assignment 3 and present it

INSPIRATION

Actually we were very busy with our assignments those few weeks. The first thing came to our mind is FREEDOM that have a connection with the word 'fly'. So we got our inspiration from a bird to design our model

We have used some cardboard, uhu glue, wooden stick, straw, garland , string and towel to design, make and decorate our model.

REFLECTION

Through this assignment, i have learnt how to fuse the ideas of our design in order to come out with a satisfied outcome. We kept discussing and experimenting on each of our ideas.
Besides, i also learnt how to summarize our presentation to deliver audience as detail as possible so that they can understand our ideas clearly as there is a limitation time giving for our presentation.
